Endgame
Hello everyone, it’s Cyprien, Marion, Noé and Théophile, a group of 4 young French dev !!
About us and our adventure
Endgame is a game we created during the GMTK 2026 jam, in less than 96 hours, and in which we were deeply involved, to the point of finishing it at the last moment after pulling an all-nighter.
To be honest, we are not entirely satisfied with it yet and we will surely keep working on it in the future !
About the game
If Endgame has platform game mechanics, we hope above all that it is the theme and the story of this game that will speak to those who dare play it until the end ! We did our best to convey our artistic vision while being still novices.
It was created using Godot, which we discovered on this occasion. We would like to point out that although the game is as playable downloaded on your computer as on the web version, it was primarily designed to be played after being installed. We hope you enjoyed our game or at least it intrigued you, and thank you !
Many thanks
First of all, we would like to thank John, a friend without whom the music that accompanied the game would have been impossible, but also the 42 school, which facilities were made good use of during our marathon. We must also thank all the artists on the internet who generously shared their works and from which we have benefited, and finally the channel Game Maker’s Toolkit, which was the starting point of this adventure and the motivation behind it. ;)
Quick Disclaimer
As this is our first game made with Godot, created while learning the engine over roughly 96 hours, you may encounter some bugs or soft locks. We have implemented a save state feature that will restart you at the beginning of the level. -- If you are soft-locked with the countdown at the start of your save (if it reaches zero, the game is basically broken), you can delete your save file here:
